I have a few queries which i hope u guys could kindly answer,

1) Cornell's a darn HUGE place...do the professors devote individual time to each student? if u have some ideas u want to discuss with them, are they open to it?

2) Freshmen= North Campus
Cornell College of eng= South campus

how far they seperated by? is a gruelling tek to walk across the campus all the way?
are there any bus/ shuttle survice within the campus for the obese soul who can't trek the tundra in winter across the campus to class?

3) I want to ask whether it's possible to finish the 4yr ECE course in 2yrs??? even u work darn hard, don't peak outta ur room etc

4) RoboCup, SAE are darn fun activities...chances of a freshman who'sgot quite a a lottqa research credentials makin it to these GOD teams???

hahah...this guy is really "different" from the rest of us...what else do you expect. Actually, 10 standard deviations off the normal in every sense of the term, to talk in his language. I feel sad that his last name is a part of my first name...if i ever go to cornell, i dont want that association.

ASP: I doubt you can finish your course in 2 years "even u work darn hard, don't peak outta ur room etc".

and yeah, if you plan to do that, you will only find it harder to trudge across campus because you would have doubled your girth. And yeah, if you follow that wonderful, constructive and all-rounded plan of yours, you cant really expect a great academic, sexual, or physical life. Take your time and enjoy college.

I guess I'll answer them...
1. Depends on the class and professor. If its small enough (i.e. writing seminars) then most of the time you will have a lot of one-on-one interaction with the professor. In the huge intro classes, you'll have TAs anyway who are willing to help each student individually if need be. I expect this situation is pretty much the same everywhere, except where you would get crappy TAs (probably not the case at Cornell...I've only had great TAs).
2. 15-20 min walk....there's a bus every 10 minutes to just outside the Engineering quad if you get lazy (I often do).
3. Unless you have a lot of AP credits, no. Almost every class has prereqs and you need to do your classes in sequence. I know of people who are doing it in 3 years, but almost certainly no one does it in 2. Why would you want to, anyway?
4. A few freshmen are joining those teams next semester so it is possible if you really want to do it.

No. Even if you took every AP course in existence, you cannot get an ECE degree in 2 years. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of.

If you did it in two years, although impossible, I wouldn't respect you anymore, I would think you're stupid for rushing it. I think it would be better to finish in four years and get a good deal or research done... Or, finish in four years, double major and get some research in. Even five years on a double major...

1) You dont clog your arteries, so less time in hospital or on medication at later stages
2) Veggies are generally much healthier people
3)...and they tend to live longer.

so, are vegetarians stupid? well if you think wanting to live longer and staying healthy is stupid, then yeah, we are.
