CORNELL Freshman Looking to Transfer

Hey Guys,

I'm currently a freshman in the ILR School at Cornell... I'm heavily involved in a few different organizations, have done research here, and currently have a 3.7 GPA.... I've realized that Cornell really isn't for me, I don't like my major, and am looking to transfer to another ivy or a school on par with the ivies. What are the easiest ivies to transfer into? There's too much grade deflation here and it's absolutely miserable so I'm looking for a school that would be a little easier on the GPA and have a good Greek scene.

Thanks!

You have a 3.7 GPA and you want a school with less grade deflation? LOL! And Cornell’s Greek scene is pretty healthy by Ivy standards. I am not sure I understand your reasons for wanting to transfer out.

Anyway, the Ivies typically have very small transfer classes, with Brown, Cornell and Penn being the three notable exceptions.

I am fairly certain that HYPSM only accept anywhere from 0%-3% of transfer applicants annually.

Columbia, Dartmouth and Duke aren’t much better, with acceptance rates that hover around 4%-6%.
