Um did anyone know about this…

i was completely unaware of this. Have you or others sent yours?^
according to everything on the human ecology website, first quarter grades are not required to be sent, but first semester grades are.
I called admissions and they said that you can send it but it isn’t mandatory. But I don’t like the fact that what they have online (which is specific to the College of Human Ecology) contrasts what they are telling me over the phone so I’m speaking to my guidance counselor to see if I should send it.
my daughter is taking 2 dual enrollment classes. She doesn’t have quarter grades for those as they are college classes.
Hey, first off this is so dope. I’ve been reading many of these threads and am curious about my chances in Cornell. I am an ED applicant for the HBHS major at the Human Ecology school. I have a 33 Act and 3.5 UW, but have a 3.8 senior year. I know I have a super weak GPA, but I have begun multiple initiatives in my school and have 700+ community service hours. I have been volunteering for the friendship circle, a club assisting kids with special needs and children in general (research I want to do in college) and absolutely love biology, discussing mainly special needs and science in my supplement (I’m very happy with how the supp came out). My school has a super good relationship with Cornell, as in most kids who get in go to the school, but I don’t feel at all confident in my chances and wanted to see other people’s thoughts. Let me know:)
@mmchand00 I think you have a chance if you demonstrated fit and your recommendations matched your essay. Also, I think they recalculate GPA based on main sibjects and then compare it to schools profile. What region are from? What kind of HS? This GPA might be perfectly fine coming from certain HS
When will ED decision be sent?
Likely Dec 15 5pm.
@scorpion2000 I’m in the south east region at an independent private school. We follow the AP curriculum, so I take all the classes we are offered/allowed to take.
The decisions are coming out Dec 11 at 7 pm.
I think your ACT is above or at range. If your high school has good connections then depends on whether your GPA is way below or at range at top 10% of your high school.
