What are some of the things that human ecology looks for in their applicants besides the generic things that all of the colleges look for at Cornell? Special ec’s?

When my D was accepted she had no “special ECs” that pertained specifically to CHE
We got the sense that CHE was looking for demonstrated interest in the major in which the student was applying. My D did have extra-curriculars related to hers. She also taken classes connected to her chosen major. If you have any specific interest/activity/coursework related to the major you’re applying to, I’d highlight it in your application.
