if My husband has given over 7 figures to this school, BUT my D GPA from a private school in LA, is only a 3.6 and a 32 on my ACT is there any chane that my D would get in
definitely. its all about being well-rounded. Make sure her essays are fantastic and personal, and that she has compiled some work experience and ecs. Many got in with worse stats, btw.
I’m going to go ahead and call this one a troll based on the atrocious grammar and spelling.
Thanks… I was incorrect total composit is a 30. I was way off While she had 1 34 and one 35 her math and Science weren’t good… What are the chances given these new ACT’s with her GPA. I know it sounds piggish but our friend has donated 7 figures for 4 years in a row and on the Board. I have heard that only if my daughters scores are the same as someone else’s that don’t have a connection since it’s not a legacy just a good friend. Also any idea of when to ask this person ? I can’t imagine they would say no but her ACT’s composite of 30
Is drastically different than I thought?
Thoughts?
She definitely can get in. Focus on Leadership in ECs and great recs and kick*** essays. Also, think about which school to apply to. Arts and Sciences is the toughest. If she really wants in, consider another school and transfer later.
Is it your husband or your friend with the deep pockets? You said both.
I smell fish.
Seems legit…look at her previous posts. She has been talking on here since 2011.
But I feel like if it was legit…she would have the answer.
Btw that answer is yes if it’s your husband. And no if it’s just a “friend.” Unless your “friend” steps up and requests her to get in.
