Hi Everyone.

I am currently an accountant (CPA) with 2+ years of experience and I hope to apply to Cornell's Master of Mgmt in Hospitality (MMH) program in the next 2-3 years as a career change. Of course prior experience in the hospitality field is not a requirement for the program, but my question is, how do people usually get the 2 required letters of recommendations? I don't really feel comfortable getting it from my current employer due to the obvious reasons (career change, and the possible rejection by the school). So how do applicants usually do it? Do they get it from professors? I guess my only options are either to try to get a weekend job to get myself exposed to the field of hospitality, or take an introductory hotel management course at a local college. That way, I might have some recommendation sources??? What do you think?? To be honest, as much as I want to take a course at a college, it's difficult because my work hours are pretty bad and I can't commit myself to get out of work by 7pm on certain days of the week.... Any suggestions? Please helpppp~~~!!! Thanks!
