Cornell or Dartmouth-Early Decision

Hello, I’m going to be a senior in the upcoming year.
SAT-2290
SAT subjects: going to take bio and math 2
AP Exams- Chinese (5) Calc BC (5) Biology (5)
GPA (unweighted): 4.0
Classes: junior year: AP Chinese, AP Calc BC, AP Biology, US History, American Lit
senior year: AP Lit, AP Gov + Econ, AP Stats, Physics Honors, Ceramics
Ethnicity: Chinese
EC: As a sophomore, I taught a middle school business program at a local high school and ended up becoming a teacher-like figure for seventy+ students. Junior year, won 1st place sections, 1st place states, and 5th place in an event for FBLA nationals. Also interned at a law firm.

The last person to be accepted at Dartmouth from my high school was in 2012 (he enrolled). On average, 3-4 people get into Cornell and last year, 7 people got in.

Which school do you guys think I have a better chance of getting into for early decision: Cornell or Dartmouth? I’m thinking of studying economics/something related to business. Switching majors to engineering is also a possibility.

Do you know where you stand among your peers? If 7 people from Cornell got in, just think to yourself: Am I around the top 7 in terms of stats, EC involvement etc.?
You seem like a competitive applicant. The teaching thing is pretty interesting.

Apply early decision to the school that you like most. I think both are equally difficult to get into.

Cornell does not look at writing score of SAT.

My school does not have a ranking system. I think that I have above average EC, but definitely not spectacular EC; that’s why ED will make a huge difference for me.

On the other hand, how about Duke?
