I have a couple questions regarding the housing situations at Cornell. I’m sorry if I put this in the wrong spot, I’m new to this website and just in need of some answers. First off, how nice are the dorms there? Is it a pet-friendly environment? Because I have two dogs that I am unable to part with due to some personal issues. Also, what are the rules for on-campus housing? If I were to attend Cornell my partner would be moving with me, and obviously we wouldn’t live separately. Do they allow this or would I have to find off-campus housing and commute?
Service animals are allowed; emotional support animals are not.

As an undergraduate? Assume that your options are off-campus.
At one time, maybe still, St. Lawrence University in very upstate New York (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is about 90 minutes away), allowed dogs to go everywhere on campus allowed by law. The school awards lots of merit scholarship grants & encourages students to study abroad.
SLU is an LAC with about 2,400 students.
I believe freshman are required to live on campus. There are a variety of different dorm sets up on North campus. Here’s a link to housing that is broken down by year. You can click on the dorm names and see descriptions and photos. https://living.cornell.edu/live/wheretolive/residencehalls/
If you are a grad student, there is grad student married/partner housing and lots of off campus housing that would allow pets. Here’s the grad link: https://gradschool.cornell.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Graduate-and-Professional-Student-Housing-Guide-2018-19-web-version.pdf
