<p>I’ve already been de-sensitized by several waitlists and rejections, so I can handle this one, but An acceptance from Cornell would be the excitement of a lifetime… like jumping out of an airplane into the world’s tallest roller coaster and surviving type of excitement.</p>

<p>If you didn’t empty your trash it is still in there. You can still call them tomm on the phone and ask them to resend it.</p>

<p>are most people waiting for 5pm today? during the early round those people who got accepted in my school received emails telling them their acceptance the day before, but those deferred/rejected didn’t receive anything until the decision hour…idk if this is the case for cornell, but it makes me really worried. can someone confirm if this is/isn’t indeed the case? anxious…</p>

<p>canhazphysics, relax bro. I know how you feel, but you can’t read too much into this. You will get a decision like everyone else regardless of that second reminder email or not, the important thing is that u got it the first time and regarding ur post arc that would be incredibly scary if that were true because Cornell is my first choice and i really want an acceptance but havnet gotten any kind of letter like that.</p>

<p>wait do a lot of schools tend to send double emails to people they are going to accept about decision notification??? for me, emory last night sent me an email earlier in the day and i got accepted in the evening. i also just received an email from cornell reminding me of decision release. but i haven’t received this kind of email from any other schools (ivies and non ivies)
