@PianoWinterfell Calm down. You’ll get results the normal way by Ivy day for sure. Not hearing back doesnt mean an autoreject.
ok :0 I’m freaking out cuz I’m at school right now and can’t check my home mailbox…
When I looked at the Factbook referenced a couple pages ago the most difficult college to get into (other than Dyson) for a female applicant was CALS. That surprised me a bit. I figured it would be maybe a few points easier if anything.
Also guys, does using a fee waiver hurt my chances? I’m an international, didn’t apply for fin aid
i was deferred from ED… does admissions see that when they are reviewing my application or do they only see me as a RD applicant?
@dadof4kids could you send me that link? Haha I’m a female applicant for CALS and I thought the acceptance rate was a tiny amount bigger than the other schools
Any New York residents (Westchester) awaiting an acceptance letter from SHA? Or did anyone get one?
I think they can see that you applied ED
@ejn415627 They can see, and if you sent a LOCI then they would know for sure.
If I didn’t get a SHA letter, does this mean I’m rejected?
@anxiousboi No, only some of the SHA decisions come out in early March.
I received a postal mail from cornell sha regarding the acceptance!!!
@anxiousboi Dude we are in the same boat
Where are you located? @anxiousboi
A fee waiver doesnt hurt your chances. Being an international certainly does.
@nyaha28 Congrats! Where ru located? What time did u get the mail?
denver, you? @PianoWinterfell
Idk if intl’s can apply for finaid or not, but if they can, then not applying for finaid boosts your chances, since there’s no fund based restrictions on bringing the app in, over one of similar ‘calibre’ needing finaid.
Colleges gotta make tough choices, and it MAY happen that they’ll need to take only 1 of the 2
So if there’s a choice and you didnt apply for it, you get some adv. Otherwise theres no adv/disadv. considering an intl. app
@anxiousboi Massachusetts
@PianoWinterfell so am I! Didn’t apply to SHA though
