Where is APP21 on the portal? I didn’t apply for Financial Aid.
After you’re accepted you need to activate your NETID. Your NET ID are your initials followed by numbers. The APP21 from what I recall from my D19 is her application number (hers was APP19) that every applicant was assigned. Once she was accepted that number was meaningless because it was the Net ID that was relevant so yes, if they’re still using the App numbers, then everyone will have an App21 number. For ED applicants that have already activated their NetID’s those will be in the Cornell directory.

Here’s also where you can type in a name to find their net ID.

thanks for clearing it up, this makes sense
it just seems weird that i can find my ED accepted friends in the directory but I can’t find some of my RD pending decision friends

I just searched a ED friend from our school accepted and committed he still has APP21-#####
i applied RD and just checked and i had my full name with APP21-####### but i am 100% sure i am getting rejected. i looked up my sister as well who is a student and she came up as well. but i looked up my friends full name who also applied RD and nothing is showing up for her. not really sure what this means
i had this exact experience. not sure what it means at all
someone who got a likely confirmed their name was in the list, someone who is “100 % rejected” also had their name in the list. I don’t think it means anything.

I also received a likely and my name is on the list
im just confused because some people have APP21-####### showing up and others don’t, but i would assume any person that applied in the 2021 cycle would show up as APP21-####### so im confused as to why my friends didn’t show up but mine did
we need to find someone who got a likely letter but can’t find an APP21-####### to when they search their full name.
