Cornell Requirements- IB?

Hey there, I take IP (Diploma Programme) and am wondering what Cornell would have for their IB requirements as predicted?

I know that they will weigh their SATs quite high, but if I do really well in IB (40+) then what is a decent SAT mark for Cornell?

Responses much appreciated!

There are no “requirements”. You can get rejected even with a 40+ score (I got deferred with a 41 and another friend with a 41 got rejected) or accepted with a 37.

But yes, anything above a 38/42 or 40/45 would be a competitive score. Anything above ~1450/1600 (Cornell doesn’t consider the writing part of the SAT) would be competitive as well. But this depends on the college in Cornell that you’re applying to. Typically the engineering school has a higher average SAT score (~1500) than ILR or CAS.
