@hf1234 I think that person was ILR, which seems like they get their decisions earlier. I really want to keep checking, but I don’t want to feel dissapointed before a decision even comes.
@mrsblaileen I would love for us to receive decisions by the 8th. It would save me a lot of stress if I knew earlier. Good luck! I hope you get in.
Whoever gets in as a transfer can you please message me your stats of high school and the fall semester of your college year so I can see if I have a chance or not
@jonesby tell me about it! Did you try to log in? And yeah, CAS said, “we expect to have everything wrapped up by the 8th,” so take that as you will. But, I have to respond by the 11th to U Rochester so I really need to know ASAP. UR already gave me an extension - I was supposed to respond by Oct. 26th.
@mrsblaileen I’m fighting the urge to try and log in. I don’t want to end up logging in, get my hopes up, then face rejection. Likewise, I would hate to discourage myself if I can’t log in before an official decision comes out. It would be very expedient if we received decisions that early–I hope that’s the case. I think if you don’t get a decision, CAS will understand and let you know before you have to respond to UR. Congrats on your acceptance to UR, though!
Thanks @jonesby. I can’t help myself. I am a bit of a control freak and the fact that I have zero control over finding out about my decision is eating me alive!
It’s a weird mixture–part of me wants to know already, but the other part of me wants to live in ignorance of my decision because I don’t want rejection
Lol, I don’t think it means anything. You are able to get onto certain parts of Cornell’s site with just an app id. I’m pretty sure everyone can log onto the to-do list. I was excited at first too, but then I checked some past threads.
