<p>So I have a question. I'm completing the Cornell Supplement as we speak, and the question is: "Describe your intellectual interests, their evolution, and what makes them exciting to you. Tell us how you will utilize the academic programs in the College of Arts and Sciences to further explore your interests, intended major, or field of study." So I talked about how I am interested in the sciences, and how I would like a major in biology (with a concentration in biochemistry.) But then, I go into talking about how I don't want to become narrow minded, and the liberal arts education that the College of Arts and Sciences would provides is perfect. </p>
<p>Is that bad? I guess what I'm asking is that the whole first half of my essay is how I love Biology, and then in the second half, I'm talking about how I would like to be more open minded, and how Cornell can provide that. And I did put a smooth transition between the two thoughts.</p>
