Who has gotten into Cornell? I understand only about 17% of the applicants are actually accepted, with that in mind... Who got in??? And how? I know it's a hard question, but try to help me a bit...
If youve already attended- what's it like? Is it as amazing as people say? Out of Ll the ivies, some say it's not the best, what's your input?

Undergraduate – Cornell has 7 discrete undergraduate colleges, all of which are almost universally thought of as excellent. This provides a very diverse academic environment. Essentially, you will get an excellent education at any of the undergraduate colleges.

The individual Ivy League institutions provide different educational experiences. For example – Dartmouth – small, rural. Penn – larger urban. Brown has a very open curriculum (few if any required courses), Cornell a more traditional curriculum.

So, what I’m basically saying is that your question of ‘which is the best’ will depend on what you’re looking for in a college. Short answer all are excellent.

All the Ivy’s are incredible in their own way, and the 21,000 kids a year who get to go to them are amazingly lucky. They can’t really be compared to each other - they are in a League of their own.

There has been a thread with the exact same title and content made in the last 2-3 months with a lot of posts and controversy that you are looking for. Look it up. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/1099830-cornell-secretly-best-ivy.html

Sorry wrong thread. This one http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/1312891-cornell-best-ivies.html
Which once again brings back the idea of the repetitiveness of forum threads here. If you’re going to post anything, it has probably been made at least twice in the past 5 years. Google before you start anything begging ■■■■■■ - a general guideline.

Thanks for remembering that one Colene!!! Nice to know I was at least consistent.

lol, way to come to a Cornell board with “lovePrinceton”
