<p>hey guys, just a quick review for cornell transfer applicants. till date, i have heard nothing, absolutely nothing. did u guys hear back frm cornell?</p>
<p>and i even dont have the pin number? does anyone has it? if so how do i get one?</p>
<p>and when are they notifying us about decisions?</p>
<p>and finally, do u guys have any idea about cornell and financial aid for transfers? right now, i m getting full aid in my college.

<p>They haven't even started reading the regular (non-guaranteed transfer) applications yet. It's going to be awhile.</p>
<p>Martinibluex, why do you think that? I called today and the lady on the phone (CAS) told me that they were going to begin releasing decisions as early as this weekend, but that they were waiting for the extended deadline (15th) to pass before they started sending them out. She also said that they had begin reviewing them last week.</p>
<p>Wow. I have been misinformed. Yesterday hey told me that they won't start reading them until 04/15... Which is saturday btw. Lol. They also told me that they will start releasing decisions on 04/30... which is Sunday.</p>

<p>and one important thing, do u guys remember that we were asked to send estimated mid term grades? My proff estimated that I'ld get A s but I ended up with A- and B+. </p>
<p>I mean like in the estimated report I had 3 As and one B but in the official mid term, I got one A, one A-, and two B+. Does this matter? I am confident I will pull those stupid A- and B+ to A s for the final grade.</p>

<p>I got my decision today over the phone. (but I needed the decision early due to special circumstance. they said that decisions will be mailed next week).
Oh and I was also a guaranteed transfer.</p>
<p>Hm... you said that you have to make a decision asap between Cornell and Stern. I say ditch Stern and its silly deadlines and wait for the rest of your applications or go to Cornell.

<p>what kind of aid are u expecting frm cornell? i m in the same position. i need substantial aid to go to cornell. i m not sure if they can hele me with aid even i get accepted.....long shot....haha....i even havent heard frm them.....hopeful though...</p>

<p>Cornell said today that they were going to begin looking at applications starting on Monday and posting decisions starting that day. She also told me that applications for A&S went up from around 700 to 900 which is not encouraging.</p>
<p>why is cornell so willing to release decisions in April when Penn/Brown/Columbia are like only in MAY: IT IS NOT FAIR</p>
<p>They are reviewing the GT applications now, which isn't as time-consuming, I guess.</p>
<p>By this time last year many CAS transfers were already accepted :(</p>
<p>By the way last night around 12:30 when I was reloading my status page, a strange window with a small red rectangle and some text flashed for a second and then disappeared...</p>
