I know applications are reviewed by the school you apply to, but is it reviewed based on major? Like would a CAS Math applicant and CAS English applicant be evaluated by the same people at CAS, or would they be evaluated by specific groups within the college (humanities vs stem for ex)?

GPA: 4.0 in adult life and at my current institution, got a single C back when I was 16 at my first CC
Major: Chemistry
Other info: Essay was risky but I liked it, Iām Native

Pending: Lot of others
Kinda kills my confidence about getting into any of my reach schools ngl

Thank you, Iām still trying to keep my hope up for another acceptance from a reach school. I still got 15 or so decisions left. Congratulations to everyone that got in today and I hope everyone else doesnāt need to wait too long!

That said, if I get literally /any/ acceptance from a reach school I applied to I would immediately feel calm. I hope that happens soon but Iām also doing my best not to get my hopes up too high. The previous decisions do not bode well for that outcome but different schools look for different things. If I do get accepted to one of my reaches I hope itās soon so I can stop stressing tho lmao. Pray the Native boost is as real as some ppl say lol

I got an email around April 1st saying that they have started the review process and mine would be sent it was rly odd though.
But no msg on the portal or anything like that
They said that it was under the portal.
Btw, one of my grades in my mid-term was N/A because there was no assignments at that time. However, I got an A after the mid-term exam. Do you guys think I should update them about it? And since I thought mid-term reports have to be submitted before march 15, I asked my professors to fill in the form on mid to late February. Do you think it hurts my chance?
I donāt think it will hurt you can update them but if they already reviewed your application I doubt they will take it under consideration.

Anyone have anything other than āinitiatedā on their financial aid portal? Reading last years posts, if you have āorderedā than that pretty much signifies an acceptance, but Iām assuming thereās many other variables such as when it switches and stuff. (I personally still have initiated)
