Cornell Transfer Fall 2021

I’m an independent student and they required me to submit both my custodial parent and non custodial parent income forms (W2, 1090, etc)

Not sure why they need all of that when I’m considered independent by FAFSA and CSS

Also, they’ve yet to process anything financial aid related for me, is anyone else having that issue? I’ve submitted an image of my custodial parent’s 1090 with a signature (like they asked) and they’ve yet to process anything.

Yah I’m having a similar problem like they asked for signed copies and I submitted it then they asked to verify my SSN number and everything is still not processed and it’s been a while. They said they have yet to receive anything when others schools did I’m so confused.

Yeah I haven’t has a single issue with USC and Stanford but Cornell hasn’t even processed any of my documents. It’s extremely concerning for me

Does Stanford have a checklist or did you email and ask them?

Because I submitted everything but I haven’t received any word from Stanford about aid.

I submitted everything and they’ve yet to contact me either. I haven’t been able to find a financial aid portal either so everything is (potentially) up in the air with them too

When logging into the financial aid portal did anyone else’s change and now ask you for the aid year? But says access denied for both years?

Edit: nvm I was on the wrong website

Could Dyson applicants hear back next week? Or is it usually later in May?

I believe so, but my brother was accepted to Dyson last year on May 19th so it definitely is quite random.

It seems like The Hotel School might release decisions first, then Dyson. OMG.

Does anyone know when ILR decisions usually come out?

What about engineering? Will the decisions be out the next week?

ILR came out last week and on their Instagram, they posted a congratulations pic. Maybe more is coming?

Wait, really?? Did someone in admissions tell you? :open_mouth:

I’m not sure. Maybe you can check last year’s transfer thread and some decision reaction vids on youtube to have an idea for yourself?

I knew a transfer who got admitted last year as non-to transfer on May 4/5. And since Dyson came out on May 12/19 (mentioned above) => I assume SHA came out before LOL.

I am an ILR applicant and my decision is still pending (as are some others on this thread). Hopefully this week we will receive our decision because I know that ILR is one of the early ones (in theory, it’s all speculation at this point LOL)

does anyone have an idea when CALS will come out? I didn’t hear of any last week.

If I wanted to submit an update to my application regarding an extracurricular, should I do so through the common app?

I believe you can’t change your ec on commonapp, it’s locked once you submit
