Cornell Transfer Fall 2021

thanks for letting me know, but what does transfer option mean? what’s the difference between TO and non-TO? isn’t everyone applying here for transfer?

Non Transfer option are your traditional transfer applicants like myself. People who didn’t apply as a freshman to Cornell, but did so afterwards

ohhh ok, sorry didn’t see the description. thanks for clarifying!

No probs dude! That’s what we’re here for

I think I saw somewhere in this thread that someone thought transfer applicants who previously applied to Cornell when they were seniors in high school and got rejected, don’t typically get accepted as a transfer applicant with Sophomore status. My son got in last Tuesday and he had sadly been rejected with no TO or waitlist last year. It would be so cool if he found a roommate amongst another transferee. The FB page for 2021 Transfers is a great place to find a potential roommate. Good luck tomorrow!

I heard you guys talking about the checklist disappear before a decision release. So if my checklist is still up there does it mean that I will not hear back tomorrow?

checklists, almost always, disappear the day of in the late morning to afternoon and that signifies that you will receive a decision on that day

So if my checklist did not disappear by tomorrow it mostly likely means that no decision for me tomorrow?

Hi Everyone!

Quick plug for Cornell Outdoor Odyssey! Odyssey is a pre-orientation program run by Cornell Outdoor Education that takes incoming transfers on trips the week before move-in. We do things like backpacking, canoeing, climbing, and trail service in the Finger Lakes, Catskills, and Adirondacks, and we provide a great way to make a super close-knit group of friends before you get to campus. Many students even go on to become guides and lead trips the following years!

Most importantly, no experience is required, and full and partial financial aid is available!

Let us know if you have any questions and feel free to check out our website, Instagram @cornell_outdoor_odyssey, Facebook @cornelloutdoorodyssey, or email us at coe.odyssey@gmail.com for more info! Hope to see you this summer!
