if our checklist is still up by now is it safe to assume that we will hear next week? or is there still time for it to disappear?

Thank you! According to previous threads on oap website, it is a rejection for me. I don’t know when my official decision will come out but here are my stats:
incoming sophomore
applied major: CALS development sociology + communication (prereq fulfilled✅)
HS GPA: 93.6/100 (One of the best Chinese high schools)
College GPA: 4.0 (University of Virginia+ Fudan University Go-Local) 21 graded units and 55 units passed in total (including AP and Fudan Go-Local) 1/2 are 1000-level classes and 1/2 are 2000-level classes
SAT: 1500 (710+790) submitted
Toefl: 113 (Speaking: 27)
I actually don’t see any point why I get rejected. I was also rejected by WUSTL last week and Umich earlier before, which shocked me a lot. I hope any of you can give me some insights on this.

you sound like a great candidate I think you have a great shot at getting into Cornell
finally a fellow comm major in the forum! how do you know it’s a rejection if the final decision hasn’t come out yet? I’d wait until you actually got something, it could be good news for all we know.
I think we can chill ourselves by focusing on some other things like essays due tomorrow or quiz this week… 
I follow the step on thread #238 and my webpage said “limited to accepted applicant” so I would say it’s highly possible that I got rejected?

Finished all the finals, all there left is college decision
