Cornell Transfers?

Hello,

I am going to be in the school of human ecology in the fall and wondered if there were any other students that are transferring in this fall?

Where will you be living? I requested hasbrouck and I hope i get in the transfer program.

Where do other transfers want to live?

I've transfered to the School of Engineering (Computer Science). I haven't decided where I'll apply for housing yet....I'm not sure if it's better to be in a place surrounded by transfer students or by regular ones

Hello vcoleman. I'm a potential transfer applicant to Human Ecology for Fall 2008. Since you successfully transferred in, I was wondering if I could PM you with questions on how to make myself more competitive for admission. Would you be able to help me?

vcoleman, what is your major?
why do you want to go to hasbrouk?
youll be a junior?

if youre a transfer the live with other transfers, TRUST ME. Live in Hasbrock in the Transfer Program. And if you really don't want to live on North Campus then make sure you get placed into the TRANSFER floor in one of the buildings on West.

why?
what makes you say its better to live with other transfers....

It is better to live with other transfers because you can then make friends really easily! But if you are a social person and not shy then making friends won't be a problem at all no matter where you live.
The other advantage is that as transfer you will be going through the same experinces in the begining!

living with other transfers was by far the best choice I've made with housing at Cornell.

If you ask any transfer at Cornell they'll tell you to live with other transfers, and if you ask transfers who didn't live with other transfers they'll tell you they wish they had lived with other transfers. A great experience living with transfers as well.

not necessarily true. i transferred this spring and was housed with regular students and barely even saw any transfers. everything was fine.

its definitely a plus to live with others transfers for obvious reasons but if for some reason you don't, its not a big deal. it's what you make of it.

I was a transfer. The group on campus with th strongest bond and closest friendships are transfer students. Live with the other transfers, you won't regret it, trust me.

Sorry guys, I havent checked College Confidential bc Ive been too busy making a cornell facebook ( I never made one before and its so addicting!) ...

Wishuponavoilin - please feel free to contact me via pm, email or aim (or facebook now!)

sexy123- im going to be a junior, my major is human biology, health and society and i want to live in hasbrouck first of all because they are apartments and thats awesome, second of all because im not a big party girl and i want to dominate my classes next semester so (hasbrouck primarily houses graduate students)
