<p>I just looked at that SCEA decision thread and was curious where the rejects (not including those that were deferred) eventually went or got accepted. I was through page 10 and here's what I found: Columbia, Duke, UC Berkeley, Northwestern/Brown, USC (trustee scholarship), Olin, Cornell, Pomona, USC (deans scholarship), UPenn (M&T), Princeton, and UC Berkeley (Regents scholarship). This seemed to indicate the SCEA pool was rather self-selecting and very strong. Applying SCEA may not be any easier than RD for Stanford. On the other hand, all the rejects I found (through page 10) got into schools comparable to Cornell. :)</p>
