****Cornell University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

@PinkQuetzal9 Harry Potter style–by owl!!! jk

@PinkQuetzal9 they’ll probably send you an email to check your portal, and the decision will be on there.

@DryMango That would certainly be an interesting way to deliver it. :))

Are TO’s considered part of regular decision

Maybe I can answer your question, but what does TO stand for?

Hello, did anyone applying to SHA send in a resume? Just saw it on the website it was a requirement, but when applying they didn’t ask for it or it was missed by us.

@Cornellmom20 this is where you upload docs:
https://forms.admissions.cornell.edu/webform/admissions/submit.php

@empirestatedad do we think we need the resume? Deadline was feb 15 and don’t want to upload late. It didn’t show it was missing on the portal. So wondering if all applicants to SHA did the resume or it anyone ed that was accepted, did they do a resume or not?

@Cornellmom20 just go ahead and upload, it won’t hurt.

@PinkQuetzal9 a TO is a transfer option. I was waitlisted and given the transfer option for fall 2017

@PinkQuetzal9, so you took the transfer option? Does that mean that you went to another school for a year and after this term you get to transfer in? I would love to know about that option? I would love to know about that option. I assume you have to keep a certain gpa. Did this effect where you went to school this school year or did you go to your second choice school? I have heard that some folks chose to stay close to home or go to a school that is relatively inexpensive in order to save money for the following year. Just curious how this transfer option works and what decision are to be made if one gets this option. By the way, congratulations to you.

@redbluegreen19 Sorry, I honestly don’t know. I would think no, but I don’t know. You could try contacting the Cornell Admissions Office and ask there.

What is the process for releasing decisions for the ILR and Hotel schools? I read that they start sending out decisions for these two schools in the beginning of March, but it’s only for some applicants.

Question- has cornell contacted anyone about missing application materials?? it says all over the portal they will but it’s arguably no longer mid-february. I literally can’t tell if they got both my subject tests because on the portal I took literature + us history which both fall under “Literature, History, or Social Studies” so there’s a check mark there but how do I know they got both? thank you!

hey guys, lurker here. Was hoping on some feedback on my app; sorry for the chance me but heres the link:

Posted this in the Cornell ED thread but…
Did anyone see the “Regular Decision Early Notification admissions decisions sent to some Hotel and ILR
applicants” in Early March on Cornell’s CAAAN Calendar? Does anyone know how many of these early notifications are usually given or if it’s going to show up in the portal? https://caaan.admissions.cornell.edu/CAAANCalendar.pdf

@crowningflowers I’ve heard the same. Rumors say it’s some sort of rolling admissions but I’m not too sure.

@AnArcticMonkey Would this be the case for all CALS applicants?

I think it’s an early admissions thing to a select group of hotel and ILR admits… basically those that Cornell wants the most? @AnArcticMonkey

I heard they also send diversity letters to engineering and CAS. Idk about CALS
