@gsaw128 U got in!!! CONGRATS
My son got likely letter for CAS.
I JUST GOT A LIKELY LETTER FOR CORNELL ENGINEERING!!! Not for Diversity Hosting because I am Asian American
Do likely letters come out at the same time? Two of my friends got it around 4:30 and I didn’t get anything. Of course, I’m not saying I should have but it’s a bit discouraging… Could someone please answer.
Feel the same
@PinkQuetzal9 congrats! Do you know if HumEc would send out likely letters to non-URMs?
I applied to ILR and am an URM but didn’t hear anything in early March when some others did, and didn’t receive a likely. Does this mean my chances of getting admitted when the rest of decisions come out is low?
@gunkers I’m an Asian American WIE!! What time did your email send?
anyone from aap who got a likely letter…
I got a likely letter as well! I am super surprised and happy
EDIT: removed.
Does Cornell give likely Letters to astronomy majors?
I know I didn’t get a likely letter but what time did you guys receive your WIE emails?
@pickletickler 5:22 EST
Thank you! Well, it’s been 20 minutes and I didn’t receive one. That means no likely for me :’) Wish me luck for 3/30!
Congrats to all with the Likely letters. And here’s a good perspective for the 99% who don’t get them http://www.collegeconfidential.com/dean/what-are-likely-letters-like/
To all who got likely letters congratulations! To those of us who didn’t don’t worry about it. Just be happy for those who did and keep the faith!
I wonder who is getting likely letters in engineering - diversity students or athletes or those with some big hook?
I got an LL for CS but it was in the form of an invite to the diversity admits weekend thing so I assume only URMs are getting LLs right now.
That’s incorrect, an Asian-American got an engineering likely a page or two pages back. Cornell does not consider Asians as URMs
