****Cornell University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

What are the historical numbers ? 42000? That’s ridiculous. There’s no way in heck I get in haha

@Pugslife What were your scores?

Can someone calculate the new acceptance rate considering that there’s 42,000 applicants?

@DryMango If around 6300 people are accepted, the acceptance rate is 15%

Last year, 4,997 of 40,083 RD applicants were accepted. Assuming Cornell accepts ~5,000 again this year…

5,000/42,000 = 11.9% RD acceptance rate I’m guessing

@Bwcoleman222 Both ED and RD applicants add up to 42,000 applicants.

If there around 40,000 RD applicants, acceptance rate is 12.5%

@InfiniteLibrary The email says “more than 42,000 regular decision applicants will be eager to access their online decision at or shortly after 5 p.m.,” so I don’t believe that includes ED applicants.

@Bwcoleman222 Ohhhhh okay - I didn’t see that sorry! So yea, acceptance rate would be roughly 11.9 % then

does anyone know number of applicants for CALS? What about acceptance rate?

Just got the Cornell email with the pin and password, officially recieved at 9:57 AM. Good luck guys!

Same. Received at 9:30 AM EDT. I hope we all get in!

Good luck everyone!

Can we check status just on the portal, or do we actually need the pin etc?

Did everyone get this email?

I got the mail at 10:41 AM EST.

Received at 8:19am

Doubt its an indicator…just wait 6h!!

Someone have an answer to my question? “Can we check status just on the portal, or do we actually need the pin etc?”

@VenomBuds guessing you need it. Just follow the instructions in email

@VenomBuds I assume we need the pin since that’s what they gave us to log in…
