Comment me!

PS... Cornell is my number 1 pick.. is it slightly possible? What can i do to increase my chances? ( beside raising up my sats of course) (2000 sats good enough?)

i bet you'll get a bunch of people discouraging you, but i think you have a very good shot even getting into cornell (they have an almost 30% acceptance rate!), and you're probably on the top half of their applicants, so i'd say 60% shot ;)

Cornell's overall acceptance rate is 21%, according to College Board.

i'm an idiot. the 29% is from a few years ago. still, i think the OP has a good shot. tons of underqualified people apply to cornell because it is the low end of the ivies and they want a shot. cornell also has to accept more to get the right amount of freshmen because they have ****ty aid and lots of people end up going elsewhere. (like me)

Gender, ethnicity, and how competitive your high school is (e.g. 10 to Stanford, 7 to Harvard, 8 to Yale, 16 to Princeton...) should be stated. You already know the SAT is your weak point, so work on raising that score.

im a male. asian. and my school is one of the top in the county. number 1 in our district.

it all depends on your SAT i say. If it is around 1600's, you got no chance in most of those schools, but if it is around 1900 then it is a different story.
