I am international student
I have 1520 Sat score with 800 from Math Level 2. My GPA is 5 out of 5 and IELTS score 8.5.
I won several international as well as domestic subject Olympiads in maths. What are my chances of getting admitted to Cornell university with full scholarship
I don’t think that any Ivy League schools have merit scholarships. As such, your chances for a full scholarship would depend upon what Cornell’s financial aid office thinks your financial need is. Taking a quick look at their web site, they do have some financial aid for international students. However, I was not able to find whether needing financial aid will reduce your already low chances of acceptance.
Your stats are great, but are probably not much better than the average applicant to Cornell. Cornell accepts about 14% of applicants. However, your chances are a lot lower than this since you are an international student (I missed the “international” part at first and needed to edit my response).
I think that it is worth an application. However, you definitely need to focus on schools where you are actually likely to get admitted.
Cornell is highly competitive and should be considered a reach school for all applicant. Note that Cornell is need aware for international students and the likelihood of getting full tuition is very low.
