I was accepted as a transfer in the junior year in all 3 schools. I was wondering which one would you chose-- Cornell vs. Columbia vs. Wash U St Louis?

I personally was thinking going to Wash U... I heard it is difficult to maintain a good GPA at Cornell. While Columbia in NYC may be overhwhelming for me.

Or should I stick to one of the Ivys? Is there a reason to choose Cornell or Columbia because they are ivy leagues over Wash U?

WashU premed is pretty intense as well. Obviously, you're going to get a biased opinion on this board but I think Cornell and Columbia are better than WashU.

I agree Wash U is proobalby the most overrated school out there these days, it has little reputation in the world and is only hailed by US news as an amazing school. Don't get me wrong, solid education, but no nwhere near the reputation of powerhouses like Cornell and Columbia. For Sciences, you can't beat Cornell

I'd pick Cornell or Columbia, which are two very different environments...you should pick the one that fits you best; if you don't think the city is for you, then maybe Cornell is the best choice...Wash U ****es me off, so I'm not endorsing it :p
