Cornell vs Columbia

Gomestar, that was his point, in case you didn't get the sarcasm. He was just giving a witty response to mo123's insignificant quip.

I haven't heard anyone use that word in a long time. Last I time I read it was in Shakespeare's writing. I'm glad to see there are people incorporating the Victorian era's vocabulary with that of today's though:)

LOL, Ithaca and Manhattan are bothin NY, but a world away from each other in character, LOL.

lol, ok thank god ... i was like is this kid serious?

This is serious:

that definately gives it a head up over whatever state Cornell is from

This is light hearted/sarcasm/joke whatever

that definately gives it a head up over whatever state Cornell is from :)/;)

So if someone said

i hate you

there is a chance they mean it, but if they said

i hate you :)/;)

they are most likely kidding around

typically i catch the sarcasm (since i create so much of it myself) - but as i look back on that day, i went to work at 4 am, went to class at 10:30, went back to work after class from 2-7, then did homework for the rest of the night. My brain was just mush!!!

and oh yeah, i pick Cornell over Columbia. I might look at Columbia for law school in a few years, but that's only because they have a very very strong international law program.
