Cornell vs Northwestern vs WashU

Hello,
My son was accepted into Washington University in St. Louis, Northwestern, and Cornell a few weeks ago. He is very interested in pursuing medicine and we are wondering what the best school for him is. Which school do you think is the best for pre-med?
Thanks

I immediately guessed that your son was pre-med just from reading the thread title. They’re all very common choices for pre-med, and he’d be fine at any of them.

There are some differences in curriculum requirements and academic calendars (e.g. quarter system at NU, semester system at WUStL and Cornell), but overall he should probably focus on the non-academic features like setting/location and campus atmosphere, as that’s where you’ll find the bigger differences between the three. That’s assuming they’re all affordable and offered sufficient financial/merit aid, of course.
