Cornell vs. Penn vs. Northwestern Social Life

Hey guys! I was just accepted to Cornell, Penn, and Northwestern and I need a little bit of help making my final decision.

Now before anyone attacks me for making this thread, I just want to say that social life is clearly not the only factor that I'm considering. I've already looked into the academics and specific programs at each school, and I think that from that standpoint, they would all work very well for me. That being said, the social setting is an important component for me, and it's not something where I can just go to the school's website to get information.

I really like the "work hard, play hard" philosophy. Clearly these schools have the "work hard" component taken care of, but I just want to make sure I go somewhere where people actually like to go out and take a break from time to time.

Regarding Cornell, I know that Greek life is pretty big there, but I'm not really sure that I want to go Greek. I've heard that there are a lot of open parties freshman fall but that's pretty much it. It seems that if you aren't in a frat after that, you're pretty much done.

Northwestern seems to have a more fun-loving culture surrounding it, and it doesn't seem like Greek life is as necessary there, but I could be wrong.

I'm not really sure about Penn, but I'd imagine that it's more like Cornell in that respect?

Any help at all that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

If it were me, I’d be be choosing between northwestern and penn :)
