we uploaded few days after 4/6 with Wait List Regular Decision Response Form and etc.
and got a message saying Waitlist Correspondence around 4/20.
and got changed again this moring 05/27/2021 08:20 AM - Waitlist Correspondence.
I was wondering does it mean anything? or has anyone’s portal got changed like this?
Does the waitlist paragraph still appear at the top of the portal? When it disappeared for waitlistees in CAS apparently it indicated that decisions were coming out. Not sure if this remains the same for the rest of the Cornell schools.
Yes. When i clicked the letter it still shows. the original one from the 4/6
Did you email your updates or did you directly upload them to the portal under “Upload Materials”? Also which letter are you talking about? The decision letter? The wait list regular decision response form? Or do you mean when you open the portal you can still see the two short paragraphs at the top of the portal?
After we got waitlisted letter on the portal(4/6) responded & loaded after few days.
When you open the portal , u can see upload materials section on the right side.
it says the date and time saying Waitlist Correspondence.
I saw it this morning there was a little addition line saying waitist correspondence at 8:20am(5/27)
wondering what this means and anyone saw like this on their portal.

Quick question- how do you find your regional AO? I have just seen the general emails like MIDWESTPROSPECTS@cornell.edu, etc.

I wish I could say I know what it means. I thought maybe if you had emailed them like updates or something they would’ve added it to your portal for you as I have seen other people explain earlier in this thread, but since you uploaded to the portal I don’t know what this means.
That’s is it. There is one person responsible for the regional account, so you always receive response from the same person.

Not sure if this applies to you, but if your counselor emailed them a grade update, it gets added to your application as a “waitlist correspondence”. Perhaps your counselor was slow with sending your grade reports, or they were slow with uploading it to your application (maybe because they knew they wouldn’t be evaluating waitlisted applicants for a while). Again, a lot of “perhaps” and “maybes” because this is pure speculation. Personally, I think its unproductive and somewhat harmful to our mental health to analyze these minute changes.

On the topic of grade updates, my teachers just finished finalizing my grades so how do I go about updating Cornell? After emailing admissions they said that they would prefer I would send them my grade update through the “waitlist correspondence” form on the admissions portal but the only way I know I can send an official transcript is through parchment.com. Any suggestions?

I think your guidance counselor can directly email them to the designated admissions office!
