CALS is the worst curprit

Didn’t even respond to my last email

Got an email response back from the CALS admissions team (after ~1 week), but still no indication of whether we will hear back or not. Not sure if it is a positive sign that they are still sifting through emails.

i would not overanalyze anything. let things take their course atp.

Waiting for Cals here. . .just uploaded a copy of the final report card. I expect there will not be any slots at this point and we are very happy with our accepted choice - but that’s the last shot we have to fire so why not.
Good luck to all - it will all be for the best!

CoE never responded to my email too and it was regarding my final report card

I wonder what the colleges have to wait for to give decisions.

Perhaps just waiting to see if their currently enrolled students will hop into other schools…very low chance tho

i also got a response from cals. but I feel like it was a generic email that was sent to a lot of people. was your’s also around the fact that if you have extra materials we should upload it on the portal through waitlist correspondence, etc?

Yup, nothing personal to me. It just seemed like a generic response containing those exact phrases.

ah gotcha. it’s tough bc they still don’t even know if they can go off the waitlist even tho the info document they referenced said they should know shortly after may 3rd ahhhhhhh :frowning:

Why isn’t engineering saying anything :frowning:

Let’s collectively pray or manifest that results will come out this week
:sparkles:

Probably overenrolled like many other engineering progams. Hang in there though, there’s always hope. My daughter is in COE at Cornell and generally loves it, but my son is about to go to UM for Engineering and we’re very excited with what we’ve seen so far compared to Cornell.

Did your kids receive any scholarships?

Not at those schools.

Any outside of school ones? You and your kids seem to be very hardworking.

My daughter applied ED to Cornell so didn’t have an opportunity to apply for other school scholarships, my son was offered a full ride to his safety but turned it down. They don’t qualify for need-based scholarships and there isn’t anything unique about them that falls into some of the other scholarships they had looked at. Well my daughter applied for one through our school but didn’t get it which would’ve been like $500. My son didn’t apply for any extras and this was such a crazy year with not knowing what was going on with schools and all the essays, we didn’t even push to look for them. That is actually something to add to the list of what he can do this summer when he has some free time!

My other daughter her school (UT) gives very little OOS merit scholarships but they help you get residency for soph year as a way to offset that so that in a way is as good as a scholarship thankfully. It’s going to be a rough few years with 3 of them in school now, but if 3 at full pay yikes.

Btw, thank you for the compliment. They’re hardworking, but admittedly, they can be plenty lazy at times too. They are surely not perfect!
