It highly depends on how well regarded your school is and how many kids it sends to cornell every year. Also, where are your SAT Is? If you haven’t taken them your chances are very low. It is highly suggested that you take it even as an international. Your ECs are excessive in quantity, but not good in terms of quality. The only eye catching EC you have is this:1. Bronze Medal in National Science Competition 2008. What is that competition? Does it have a name? Is it considered a big deal?

As of now your chances do not seem to be good. The lack of focus your ecs demonstrate hurts you and your lack of test scores is worrying. When you donate money, you don’t count the total amount contributed by everyone in the club as your contribution when you did not organize the event/ and are not president.

Your chances are possibly not bad given the information. But please take all these “participant” items off your resume. Sports don’t count unless you are on your school’s team or in a serious league. Focus on the stuff you were really serious about, which seems to be music.

My sats not so great that’s why I didn’t include them
CR:670
M: 790
W: 680 but I am retaking them

Your SAT is well within range.

Not at a level that would help you at admissions though, especially for international students. If you want to retake it, focus on your CR. Your best shot is in ED.

I agree with mikey. Your scores are not only within range, but I know an internatonal student whose reading score was much lower than your’s but had a high math score (which wasthe area he was majoring in), and he was accepted. He is now working for microsoft.

It also depends on whether or not you are applying for aid
