I have been reading up on this but have yet to find a general acceptance or consensus. It seems to be geared more towards investment bankers. Coming from an unknown school would this help my chances of getting into IB?

generally you need more exp for an accelerated program, and as I recall you were an UG, this may not be right for you

Thank you for your response.

correct i am UG, i saw this as a possibility to get into IB as i am not anywhere near a target school and have no chance of landing an analyst or summer analyst for that matter. Since then i have found the general consensus that accelerated programs hold very little “accreditation” to IBs and shouldnt really be sought as an option.

The AMBA program is targeted towards people who want to advance in the industry of previous WE, since it lacks a summer internship program.

If you want to switch careers, you should try to go with the regular full time MBA program.
