<p>anyone here apply to SU Arts & Sciences and get invited to apply for the Coronat thing? it sounds like a great deal--full ride, grants for research and study abroad, etc...they say they select a max of 10 every year; any idea how many get this letter?</p>

<p>Yes, it is SU's most prestigious scholarship for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. In effect, it is a full-ride, with funding to study abroad/research. I believe that you have to write an essay and go through an on-campus interview process.<br>
Please say more about the invitation that you received? When did you get it and what did it say? Also, would you mind posting your stats?</p>
<p>I got invited as well. SU's Arts and Sciences College selected 120 of its best applicants(this year), invited them by asking them to fill out three essays. They said they expect to pick 10-12 students. I my guess is about 80 will apply and 10-12 will get in. I have been writing my essays. If anyone else received the invite(or wants more info), please contact me by email/Private message. It seems very competitive(full scholarship!). I will check back often!</p>

<p>the 120 is the new number this year(according to Associate Dean of Admissions who I talked to about it)...I guess the program is really taking off! It the past years it was as low as 80. I did some research on the acceptance of the program... Did u already write your essays?</p>
