What UG major is preferrable for a student interested in corporate law?

Few hiring partners really care what what their prospective employees studied as undergraduates. Study what interests you.

Greybeard is right - I'd only add that if you had a particular industry in mind, perhaps a related undergrad major might be a plus at hiring time. For general corporate law, though, choosing a major you like and that you have a chance to earn a good GPA in makes sense.

There is no required undergrad major to go to law school or to enter an area of practice. However, if you are thinking about corporate law you may want to take some business courses in college such as accounting, business organizations, tax. But my first statement holds true, it is not a prereq., so if you want to be a music major you can do that instead. The college classes though will give you a little taste of the business world.
