Was recently notified of my Finalist status (yay!) and was wondering what I need to do to qualify for the Corporate scholarships. My father works for Accenture LLP and I couldn’t find any contacts specifically for this matter through Google. Should I contact Accenture, NMSC, or another party?
I don’t remember stating that my dad worked for Accenture in any of my application forms, so I’m not going to assume I automatically qualified.

With some companies that sponsor NM scholarships, the employee has to contact human resources at the company and fill out an application form, and there may be a deadline for doing this. Then the company forwards the info to NMSC. But apparently this isn’t true with all of the companies. One parent wrote that she asked NMSC about her daughter’s eligibility for a particular corporate scholarship, and they said she was already on the list of those eligible. So maybe contact both Accenture and NMSC?
You need to have your father contact HR.
The NM office contacted my son a month or so ago asking for his dad’s employee number. So they already knew what company he worked for. the kids must have been asked that question at some point.
Some corporate scholarships you need to apply for–and the applications started being available when the semi-finalists were announced in September.
Everything is handled through your father’s company. The “copies” go to the NM office, but the information goes through the HR department.
