<p>A friend told me that his rejection letter said the acceptance rate was around 18%. Not quite sure on the official statistics, only anecdotal evidence ofc</p>

<p>@chessv @ucladeb So far the ones who haven’t received an email from UCI are supposedly rejected so keep checking your emails in case they send something. You have to receive an email from a person named Jason Gan.</p>

<p>@ucladeb It seems that no one on cc got into UCI 6, but maybe people outside cc did. Question for people who got into UCI 8. Was UCI 8 you first choice? I think maybe they released first choices only? Did anyone got into the second choice cluster?</p>

<p>My older son (sophomore) got into UCD, cluster 6, but still no word on my freshman son who wanted UCI, cluster 7. I assume that’s bad news for the younger one, right?</p>
