Hello everyone. What are you guys doing to prepare for COSMOS? For example are you buying anything? I know I need to buy a fan.
@FanofFrozen @stressinnnnn @bboyinmartin @exl028 @nearea @chloroplasm @pigscanfly1324 @Zixqui
@enchantedflower @JackPham

@dsi411 not really… just buying some clothes. Watch me procrastinate lol and u

@exl028 Someone said I should bring a frisbee so I might get one of those. I also need a swimsuit since apparently we might go to the beach on the weekends. And I need clothes of course.

@dsi411 I definitely need to buy some summer clothes and shoes; not much of the stuff I have is suited for plus 90 degree weather. Barring that though, there isn’t really anything special I need to do, and I’m still not sure if I should bring my athletic gear or a bike with me. I’ll probably decide everything the last week of June.

@dsi411 I’m thinking of bringing a small fan. The dorms supposedly have AC but it couldn’t hurt on warm nights.

Hey guys!!! I’m really late to the thread but I just got an email saying I was taken off the wait list for the biomedical cluster at UCI!!! I am so thrilled to have been accepted but I already paid a small deposit to go to a Stanford summer institute in bioscience/biotechnology at the same time. I can back out of Stanford but am hesitant to lose the money I put down!! Can anyone compare the two camps or tell me why I should choose one over the other?? Thanks so much in advance (:

@nearea The dorms at UCSD don’t have air conditioning so I have to bring a really good fan. Hopefully my roommate brings one too.
@nutmegtp For me the deciding factor would be price so it depends who you are. Distance may also be important.

@dsi411 I’m thinking of buying a fan because the dorms have no AC D:

@mintcholol8 Cool, an 8th grader. Too bad you aren’t gonna be at UCSD like me.

edit I copied and pasted the form thing w/ all the information (where I was accepted, etc.), so I forgot to change some information. In case anyone was wondering, I am half Hawaiian and half Indian (so the information wasn’t totally wrong) and was accepted at UCSC.

@dsi411 yeah, I am in eighth grade. I was so surprised that I was accepted, since the website itself says being accepted in eighth grade is very difficult. I can’t wait though, COSMOS is a once in a lifetime experience (literally too, since we can only apply once)!

@dsi411 UCI

Hi everyone.

Hey! @dsi411

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to bring to UCSC or have any suggestions in general?

This is urgent…is anyone here going to UCSD COSMOS? If so, do you know the specific address we are supposed to go to? Not the general address for UCSD, I mean the specific address that’ll lead to the ERC dorms where the check-in is?

@FanofFrozen @stressinnnnn @iamdwang @Anjelly @minmin123 Could any of you help me with the above? ^

Never mind, sorry everyone.

Is everyone ready?

@FanofFrozen @stressinnnnn @iamdwang @Anjelly @minmin123 How did everyone enjoy COSMOS?
Is there anything important on the facebook page? If so can anyone post it here?
