Got up in the morning and happily submitted my application. Good luck to the rest of you.
I have a feeling that my letters of rec won’t be submitted on time
That’s my worry but i can’t control it so let it for~
My daughter spent hours on her application and for the last 3 days, she has been unable to submit it! I called and left messages and even emailed the director but no one has answered the phone or responded.
I said I would try to upload it for her today since it’s all complete, just can’t submit. It showed “Data Base Error” each time until now it says “Server being shut down.” This is SO frustrating and I feel sorry for all the kids who are in the same boat. She stayed up until after midnight trying to submit it last night and that’s a big deal when her morning class starts at 6:30. She has wasted a lot of time on this, time better spent on her school work so I sympathize with all of you.
I’m disgusted and now worried that I would have let her go to a program that can’t even manage a data base! I’ll keep trying while she is at school but I know one of her teachers hasn’t uploaded her recommendation and he will NOT keep trying when the website won’t work. What a shame! The only good thing out of this application fiasco is that when it’s time for college apps, she will get them done well ahead of the due date, lesson learned.
So is everybody having the issue with the horrendously slow application loading/error messages? It’s getting really annoying 
YES! It’s terrible. I’ve been trying all morning and it won’t load just to submit, sign and pay. So frustrating!

Yes, daughter was able to submit, yay! She has no idea that I spent over 6 hours this morning just trying to get the application to load so I’m glad she was spared the frustration. I hope she gets in, good luck to everyone else.
@rh2017 Did you go to UCSD COSMOS last year? I went last year but I was in cluster 6.
And I emailed them last year when I was applying and they said the two biology clusters, 7 and 8, were the most popular and hardest to get into. You might be right, though.
yeah, crap. I’m applying for cluster 7 UCSD and Cluster 6. I probably don’t have a good chance of getting in.
Oh, and yeah, it sucks that the website can’t work. If we can not submit because of their technical shortcomings, then it is their fault. We can’t be blamed.
I emailed COSMOS, and they said deadline would be extended to Tuesday February 24th 5pm for all parts of the application!
The website said that it is still due Feb 20
The website actually works perfectly fine now
