<p>My d will be graduating this year and with the RPI medal and another $12,000 in aid, she will still have a $31,000 student loan debt. We (her parents) will have a $72,000 parent loan debt minus what we have been paying. I consider this a bit of a gamble as she is an EMAC major. This is a relatively new program.</p>
<p>Don’t have a clue what someone majoring in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication is actually studying. Is she happy with RPI and her major?</p>

<p>She is very happy with the RPI and her major and, was able to do a nice internship in NYC over the summer. There are some job possibilities and she has noticed an increase recently in areas she is qualified for. The median starting salary for EMAC is 45,000 so I feel the cost doesn’t equal the pay but we will see.</p>
