For a first year college student, I will have to cover $22,000 for the cost to attend RPI. I think I will have to get a job to pay that. How much is everyone else left to pay for RPI after the financial aid and grant awards?

After merit aid and student loans our net price is $28K

Would it be ok if you can share some ways to pay for the net price (after financial aid, grants, and loans)? Sorry for the bother with so many questions; I am a first generation college student…

We have no financial aid, only merit aid.
Note, financial aid can change each year based on your families financial situation. Merit scholarships don’t change, but as tuition goes up, you wind up paying more out of pocket.
From what I understand, merit scholarships at RPI are not grade dependent. When you are comparing offers I recommend you consider that, because it can be tough to keep grades up in hard majors.

Merit Aid only, no loans or grants or any need based aid. I got about 20k in a Leadership Scholarship, making the total COA about 41k.

Can you guys let me know your EFC?

EFC is $0, but I still have to find a way to cover the $22,000.
