How much does medical school usually cost? Like would the cost of UVA's medical school differ from that of like Penn state's? Are they all generally around 35,000 dollars each year? Also do you have to pay the undergrad fees that you see on like collegeboard or something else?

State schools and in-state tuition are going to be in that range of 33-45k. Private schools and out-of-state tuition are going to as much as 20-25k more per year.

However realize that those figures include the amount that the school budgets you to take out for living expenses. I am taking out $1500/month in loans that are simply for living. If you are married to someone making enough money to support you, then you obviously wouldn't have to take out as much or any money for living expenses. However there is little if any difficulty in securing the necessary loans for any graduate school, let alone medical school (you are going to be a doctor afterall - it's the ultimate kind of "good" debt to have).

Remember that you go to medical school after undergrad, so yes you would pay undergrad tuition and fees for those 4-5 years until you graduate, then pay the medical school tuition for the 4 years following that.
