Hey everyone, I was just wondering whether my chances of getting into Berkeley would be significantly marred by 1 B that I got in 10th grade. The rest of my grades through 10th and 11th are straight A's, all AP and Honors courses, so my weighted UC GPA stands at around 4.6-4.7 something. As another point of reference, I'm also from out of state, and I knew admissions are much harder for us.

No. (It probably won’t keep you out of any other college, either.)

haha thanks energize, I’ve just been really stressed about college lately and keep freaking out that I won’t get into any schools

I got a C in AP physics C my junior year of high school and thought my chances for Berkeley were over… Nope! I’m a junior double major in Haas now. don’t worry, just make sure your extracurriculars are solid!

No. Definitely not. I had a bunch of B’s in my HS transcript (and even some C’s my freshman year).

I know people with Bs and Cs who got in.

I got 2 B’s, one in freshmen and sophomore year, respectively. So no.
