Could I get in?

Hi,

My unweighted cumulative GPA is 3.1. My SAT score is 1780. My ACT score is 27. I have taken all college prep courses throughout high school. However, freshman year, I took Honors Global 1 and didn’t do well. This year, junior year, I took 3 quarters of Algebra 2 and didn’t do well. For my last quarter, I am switching to Intermediate Algebra 2. This is still a college prep class. Also, freshman year, I took Italian 1. I took no world language Sophomore year because I didn’t do well in Italian 1. This year, I took Spanish 1 and am getting a B+. I plan to take Spanish 2 next year. I will have at least 2 letters of reccomendation. I am the Vice-President, soon to be President of Garden Club. I have been an active member of Debate Team every year. I won a finalist award at the state DECA conference. I have a job and have volunteered as a CIT over the summer at a nature camp for the past 5 years. I am Catholic. I will probably major in Psychology. How will all of this affect getting into a college or not. Is it good enough for Saint Joseph’s? Will other good schools accept me? Will I get any money? I am very nervous about college admissions.

Jake

Yea man! Don’t worry about it

Jake you have similar course work as my son and also a few point higher on ACT score… My son had a 3.4 GPA and got a good scholarship as well as acceptance… you are certainly in! My son’s friend had a 2.8 and got a small scholarship so I would not worry a bit.

Thank you both so much!!

I was accepted and given the University Scholarship of $14000 per year!!

We’re you just accepted this week
