Essays should be unique, Interview should go well, but no hooks

Give me an honest opinion, guys!

I’m going to be there next year, and fail again :D

You will prob get in. Wharton or CAS?

I think just CAS, for now. But chance me for both!

Oh wow, really? Isn’t the exam just ridiculously hard? And boring :P

You are a stellar applicant. Certainly extremely competitive for both Wharton and CAS.

If you can pull off A+'s in 9 AP classes, 2 honors classes, and 2 college classes, you will have my utmost respect forever.

The problem’s not the school grades. It’s honestly not incredibly difficult to get A+'s at my school, to be honest. The problem is the AP scores. People say the AP classes are a joke, so I’m going to be really screwed taking all the AP tests. Usually, most students never get any 4s or 5s. I’ve only taken one so far, AP Calc BC, and I got a 5, but math’s my best subject so it doesn’t really count.
And as for the college classes, they’re all math, so I’m not too worried.

Well, schools arent supposed to look at AP scores…dont submit them when you apply if you dont want to. However, the problem with A+s is that they make your school look heavily grade inflated. I had all A+s from a crappy high school and it…i think…actually hurt me a little when I applied for colleges.

Whatt?? Can you elaborate on how it hurt you? It’s not our fault we go to crappy high schools, is it?

You are a very strong applicant. Your grades, scores, and EC’s are great. The awards are a definite plus too. Your bad high school won’t necessarily hurt you, by the way. It isn’t your fault and colleges will recognize that.

Sry i shouldve clarified…it wont hurt you per say. However, idk about you but I invested a ton of time in getting my A+s…however in the end colleges likely just attributed my grades to inflation rather than my putting in a TON of time each night.

^ I was worried about this too. I have a 4.0, but it’s not like my high school is easy, I just put a lot of work in. Probably 2 other kids out of 110 in my grade have 4.0s. However, when I was at Princeton for water polo camp, the coach said that they keep records for your school. They will compare you to the other applicants from that year and previous years, so as long as there are a few applicants per year, I think that you receive a fair chance.

^^^^
Ur fine…your rank will show colleges you are a top student at your school
