Could I land in S&T or Commodities Trading?

I want to know if someone with this background could find work in reg. S&T or commodities trading.

(I haven't done this yet, I'm just mapping out what I would like to do to make sure it works)

Undergrad in Petroleum Engineering; Minor in Energy, Economics
4-6 years in United States Marine Corps. (family tradition)
Masters in Economics

I'm trying to figure out how to fit the Marine Corps. around my education. I'd really like to work in oil trading, although with this I don't know if that's the most feasible.

If you don’t land a job in S&T then you can just place into a client/product coverage group. I know that many large banks (JP morgan specifically) have client coverage groups that take on the energy sector. That and having a degree like that might make you an asset to guys PE or Principal Risk later on.

Alright, thanks.

The main thing that was worrying me was both the time in the Marines and getting the Econ degree.
