Interested in Sales & Trade... Any ideas?

Hello,

I am currently a junior in high school. I am very interested in sales and trade and think I would like to be a trader when I grow up. Granted I am only 16, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of sorts of things I could do to foster my interest in this.

I'd mostly like to do something along these lines for fun because I am interested in it, but also because I plan to apply to college on that platform so would like to do something to show my passion for it. Any summer programs, courses, business ideas, anything that would be somewhat simulative to sales/trade? Any/all suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you want to get into trade you better have a degree in a quantitative field from a stellar top 5-10 school. Trading as it once was pretty much fails to exist anymore. All those jobs are taken over by Comp Sci majors. So a major that’s math heavy like Comp Sci, physics, math, etc will give you a much better chance than the Econ major.

Although a Stern or Wharton degree wouldn’t hurt anyone…

But seriously S&T jobs exist but … damn good luck getting your foot in the door.
