Could it get any worse ?

Hi CC community,

I've applied early to Stanford, had my scheduled interview, and thought all was going well. This was until I was looking over my common app, and realized that I forgot to put many of the extracurriculars that I'm involved it. Luckily I mentioned some of them in my supplement essays and interview, but I didn't cover all of them. Without my extracurriculars, I really think my application is not as strong as it could be.

What do you guys think of the situation ? I've already emailed them, and I plan to call them on Monday when their office is open. Has my dream of attending Stanford slipped from me due to my own mistake, or is there enough time for me to still fix my flaw?

Thanks

Hi HumbleOne,

First of all, you definitely did the right thing by contacting them right away! I would also fax a typed copy of whatever you want to add to your application. I left something off of my application and called, and they told me to fax it. The number is (650) 723-6050, and you should include your full name, DOB, High School name, and Common App #.

Bottom line is, it definitely isn’t too late to give them the missing information.

Best of luck!!!
